What Is The Difference Between
SCS & Nursing Homes
SCS is designed for seniors who may need support with daily activities such as medication reminders, showering, dressing and mobility, while still maintaining a good level of independence. Residents usually have their own private living space, which they can personalise to feel more like home, while also enjoying access to shared facilities, communal dining, organised activities and social events.
SCS and nursing homes are often seen as similar, but they serve different care needs. Seniors under SCS are generally more independent and may only require light to moderate daily support. They can still participate in social activities, make personal choices and live with a sense of autonomy.
